Mahum Hameed, Site Director, Sterling
Mahum is the Site Director for the Loudoun office. Mahum’s educational background is in Social Work with a Master’s degree from George Mason University. Mahum is currently working towards her clinical social work licensure (LCSW). She comes to us from Loudoun County Mental Health where she worked as a Care Coordinator with the WrapAround Loudoun program. Mahum has extensive experience providing intensive in-home counseling services to at-risk children and youth in the IIH program with two different in-home providers. Mahum is passionate about working with children and teens with depressive disorders. Her future goals are to obtain her LCSW and open her own private practice, as well as completing a Ph.D. with a focus on trauma-informed therapy. In her leisure time, Mahum enjoys playing with her 1-year-old daughter, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.
Maliha Zaman completed her Doctoral degree in Special Education at the University of Iowa. She moved to VA in 2010 after her graduation and joined Victoria Transcultural Clinical Center as the EPSDT Behavioral Program Coordinator. She joined Therapeutic Alliance in 2016 as the EPSDT Program Supervisor. In her spare time Maliha enjoys diverse cuisines, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two children.
